With construction underway in Danville, there are many exciting projects that are adding more charm and character to our lovely town. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the redevelopment of the Danville Hotel will unite old and new with a new residential, retail, and restaurant space for people to enjoy. Here is more about the project from the Town of Danville page:
Redevelopment of the Danville Hotel site includes the construction of approximately 37,500 square feet of new residential, retail and restaurant space. The residential portion of the project will consist of 16 for-sale second story residential units, ranging in size from 919 square feet to 1,440 square feet. The site is bordered by Hartz Avenue, Prospect Avenue, Railroad Avenue and Short Street. The historic hotel and McCauley house will be retained and restored.
Castle Companies, co-owners of the Danville Hotel site, has not yet released information about residential unit price points. Individuals interested in more information about the project should contact Patti Lehman at Castle Companies at (925) 328-1000 or [email protected].
It is currently unknown as to how construction will be staged, although the Town will make every effort to minimize disruption to surrounding businesses.
More information on future plans for the Danville Hotel site can be found on the Danville Hotel Webpage.
